THE EFFECTS OF ENERGY DRINKS – DEAN WHARMBY’S STORY

Dean Wharmby was a professional bodybuilder and most of us don’t know that in order to be a professional bodybuilder you need hard training and strict diets.  When he was a bodybuilder he ate 10,000 calories per day in order to maintain his muscle mass. He ate foods rich in proteins and drank two energy drinks in every hour.

Later he was diagnosed with cancer and instead of chemotherapy he turned to healthy diet and natural medicine. The tumor began to shrink but shortly after that he began his old habit, drinking energy drinks, again.

Sadly, he was diagnosed with cancer again and this time in his liver. It was too late for any kind of treatment and after a year he passed away.

CAFFEINE DEPENDENCE

The caffeine is very harmful to the cardiovascular system and energy drink can lead to strokes and heart attacks. There are countries such as Norway and Denmark, which even have banned the selling of energy drinks.
