The Trick to Stop Avocados from Browning Is So Simple You’ll Kick Yourself
Avocados are incredibly healthy and delicious fruits, which can be a common ingredient in your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
These versatile fruits are rich in folic acid, healthy fats, fiber, B vitamins, potassium, and vitamin E. However, they have one flaw- they get brown too quickly!
However, there is a simple and quick way to extend the ripeness of avocados, keep their yellow-green color, and maintain their firmness for up to 3 days!
Just cut the avocado in halves, turn them face down in a half-inch pool of water. The, place it in an airtight container with a lid and store it in the fridge. That’s all!
If you have made guacamoles, put them in an airtight container, pack it tightly and press the air bubbles out. Then, sprinkle a ½ inch of lukewarm water over its surface, close with a lid, and keep it in the fridge for up to three days.
When you want to have your guacamole, pour out the water, stir well, and enjoy!
